Tulpar Kol – KYRGYZSTAN

A rider carries the carcass of a goat as other follow him in a Dead Goat Polo match. The game takes place between two teams of 6 to 10 riders whose object is to throw a goat carcass into the opposing team’s goal. The competition is held during the National Horse Games Festival on the shore of Tulpar Kol, opposite the base camp of Lenin Peak in Alay Mountains.
