Sukothai – THAILAND

A pigeon passes over Phra Achana, the largest Buddha image in Sukhothai measuring 15 meters high and 11 meters wide. Phra Achana translates to “He who is not frightened”. The image’s name is known from a stone inscription that was discovered during excavations at the Wat Si Chum.
